Turkish scrap import prices have risenby more than $60/mt from mid-Marchto the third week of April, continuingthe bullish run seen over the past twomonths. Turkish mills have been seekingfeedstock to fulfill rebar bookings madeat higher prices, while competition fromother importers and a lack of competitivealternatives helped fuel the increases,along with continued strength in finishedproduct offers.
