Singapore-The benzene/toluene price spread in Asia extended its collapse into negative territory,hitting record lows not seen since 2001,Platts data showed Oct 29.According to Platts data,the lowest spread recorded was on October 1,2001,when it was assessed at minus 70/mt.The FOB Korea benchmarks for benzene and toluene were pegged at 357/mt and 437.50/mt,respectively,placing the spread at minus 80.50/mt.
