ExxonMobil posts 1.2 billion Q4 chemical earnings,up 49% on year

London-ExxonMobil reported chemical earnings excluding special items for the fourth quarter 2006 were 1.242 billion,up 407 million from Q4 2005,due to improved margins and higher volumes,the company said February 1.For the full year 2006,earning excluding special items were 4,382 billion,up 979 million from 2005.Again,ExxonMobil said margins and volumes for the year was also higher versus 2005.
