London-Northwest European benzene prices crashed below the l,100/mt CIF ARA mark,Wednesday as an oversupply of benzene in the US expected in June-July prompted a sell-off in Europe.The benzene market for cargoes to arrive in June traded at a low of l,060/mt CIF ARA June 6,down 57/mt down versus June 5 close of 1,115-1,119/mt CIF ARA as sellers emerged to offload parcels.
