Turkey's Petkim privatization bid attracts interest from consortia,companies

Istanbul-A consortium of three Turkish companies announced May 11 that it is to submit a bid in the ongoing privatization of a 51% controlling block of state petrochemical company Petkim.In a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange,one of the three companies,Anadolu Endustri Holding AS,announced that it had taken a 12% stake in a consortium with two other Turkish companies Yildiz Holding and Polinas Plastik Sanayive Ticaret AS to bid in the Petkim sale.
