China's benzene imports soar in 2005 on rapid downstream growth

Singapore-China's benzene imports in 2005 surged more than three-fold year-on-year,driven by rapid growth in downstream caprolactam,phenol and styrene markets,Qin Weizhong,director of planning and development in Sinopec Corporation said March 9 at the 2nd Aromatics and Derivatives Markets Conference in Shanghai.
