Caracas-Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has proposed the creation of a South American petrochemical company to promote joint projects between the resource-rich nations,the Information Ministry said March 28."Why don't we have Pequisur,a petrochemical company of the south,"Chavez said,the ministry reported."We are thinking of forming strategic petrochemical alliances with countries like Brazil and Bolivia and especially any countries that have large reserves of gas."
