US April benzene CP set with major producers at 280 cents/gal:buyers

Houston-US contractual customers of the country's largest benzene producers agreed to an April benzene contract price price of 280 cents/gal,sources told Platts March 31.The April benzene CP reflecents an increase of 7 cents/gal from the March contract price of 273 cents/gal.The largest producer issued an April CP tender of 295 cents/gal,market sources confirmed to Platts on the sidelines of the 31st annual NPRA IPC convention.The other producer had nominated a 290 cents/gal contract price.
