EPA's Science and Technology Budget Cut 4 Percent in White House Request

The Environmental Protection Agency's budget for science and technology(S&T)would be cut by 35 million in fiscal year 2008,according to the budget requested by the White House Feb.5.The 4 percent S&T reduction,which would fund scientific activities at 781 million,is consistent with the 4 percent agencywide reduction proposed by the White House.
