Singapore-Asian toluene,along with other aromatics,started April under pressure as it had become increasingly clear that the market was at the mercy of two competing forces- regional oversupply and volatile crude prices.The Chinese toluene market had been awash with product for several weeks past the Lunar New Year break,with inventory levels exceeding 100,000mt levels in east China.
