London-An initial fourth quarter Northwest European propylene contract has settled up Eur35/mt on Q3,at Eur865/mt FD NWE,between BP Refining and Petrochemicals and Celanese,sources with knowledge of the deal said September 21.An increase of some kind had been expected by many customers until the energy complex began softening earlier this month.Buyers suggested that as a result,Q4 increases would be smaller than had been anticipated.
