NWE ACN spot prices hit an all time high of 1,940/mt CIF MED

London-European acrylonitrile prices hit another all time high April 24,reaching 1,940/mt CIF MED,according to Platts data.A major producer of ACN reported selling over 5,000 mt of ACN at 1940/mt CIF MED this week.The product was reported heading to the Mediterranean and due to load out of the US shortly.The previous all time high was back in September 2007 when prices reached 1,920/mt CIF MED.
