Singapore-Weakness in Asian toluene prices,induced by a regional glut and lackluster demand in the delivered markets,have left some market participants eyeing the gasoline blending market as an alternative outlet and a floor against falling values,but blending economics are still unviable.Trade flows in the Asian toluene market have come to a standstill in the third quarter of the year,largely attributed to the demise of China as a key delivered market as it attains self-sufficiency in 2008.
