Sydney-US' Dow Chemical may be guilty of clean air and hazardous waste violations at its 1,900-acre petrochemicals complex in Midland,Michigan,and has been asked to supply information for investigations,the US environmental watchdog said November 9.The Environmental Protection Agency alleged that Dow has violated the Clean Air Act by,among other things,failing to follow regulations aimed at detecting and repairing leaks,and failing to conduct a required stack test.
