Draft Review of 2,2,4-Trimethylpentane Released for Comment,Peer Review

摘要

A draft toxicological review of 2,2,4-trimethylpentane,a chemical used to make high-octane fuels,was released for public comment by the Environmental Protection Agency Dec.29.Comments are due Feb.12.A peer review panel will evaluate the document during a Feb.28 teleconference.When issued as final,the toxicological review will be included in EPA's Integrated Risk Information System(IRIS)database,which typically contains the agency's consensus evaluations about the hazards posed by chemicals and pesticides and the doses at which those hazards could occur.
