EPA Releases Draft Toxicological Reviews Of Four Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers

Draft toxicological reviews of four polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs)were released by the Environmental Protection Agency Dec.22 (71 Fed.Reg.77,015).The agency released the documents as part of its effort to ensure that the scientific information in them is credible and used appropriately,EPA said.Comments the agency receives by Feb.8,2007,will be submitted to an expert panel that will evaluate the four draft toxicological reviews;comments the agency receives by Feb.16,2007,will be considered by the agency-as it updates the draft documents,EPA said.
