SINGAPORE-A project to help Asian customs authorities crack down on illegal shipments of ozone-depleting substances (ODS)has registered significant successes since it was launched six months ago,paving the way for its expansion,the U.N.Environment Program said March 1.UNEP,the coordinating agency for Project Sky Hole Patching,said in a statement that customs agencies from the 18 countries across Asia participating in the initiative had seized nearly 65 metric tons of illegal ODS since it was launched.
