European November ethylene contract settled higher at Eur880/mt FD

Innovene and a European polymer producer settled a monthly ethylene contract for November at Eur880/mt FD NWE,Eur70/mt up on the October settlement,a source close to the deal told Platts Oct 28.The two companies have been settling a monthly contract for ethylene supplies,as opposed to the traditional quarterly contract,since January 2005 in a bid to better manage feedstock volatility.
