Ongoing tensions in the Middle East have added a us3/bbl premium to the current price of Brent crude, Algerian oil minister Chakib Khelil said Mar 13. Khelil, arriving inVienna ahead of OPEC's Mar 15 ministerial meeting, also suggested recent strong oil prices were more the product of the Israeli-Palestinian tensions than basic market fundamentals.
