APIC focus on cooperation among Asia's petrochemical producers

As this year's Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference came to a close May 10, a common theme of closer cooperatio among producers emerged. "The time is ripe for the Asian petrochemical industries to step up towards a more binding exchange and cooperation," said Sung Jae-kap, chairman of the Korea Petrochemical Industry Association, which hosted the APIC gathering this year. "We need to have a permanent representative office, which can play the central role in coordination and collaboration."
