摘要

SEATTLE-A study of fish samples collected in Washington state over the past two years indicates levels of polybrominated diphenyl ethers are elevated in some large water bodies, with notably high amounts recorded in the Spokane River, according to the Department of Ecology.A department study of fish and water samples collected during 2005 and 2006 from 20 major rivers and lakes showed concentrations of PBDEs in samples from most of the water bodies are less than 10 parts per billion, which is within the range detected nationwide by EPA,the state agency said in an Aug.31 statement.
