Sinopec reports 65.5% surge in H1 profits to 4.7 billion

Hong Kong-Chinese integrated oil company Sinopec Corp.said August 26 its profits attributable to shareholders reached Yuan 36.19 billion (4.77 billion) for the first half of 2007,representing a 65.5% jump over Yuan 21.87 billion in the same 2006 period.
