Venezuela to cut gas prices to boost petrochemical sector

Caracas-Venezuela plans to cut the price of methane gas supplied to the petrochemical industry in order to help boost the sector,Energy Minister Rafael Ramirez said Jan 17."Last year there was a sharp increase,so we are first going to freeze prices and then reduce them,both for the petrochemical sector and the electrical sector," Ramirez said.
