Anti-dumping probe deters Chinese buyers from importing 2-EH

Singapore-Chinese domestic distributors of 2-ethyl hexanol have stepped away from the buying spot cargoes in the international market in late July,amid news that the Chinese government is planning to launch an anti-dumping probe late-August or early September on 2-EH and normal butyl alcohol cargoes from South Korea,Japan,Europe,Saudi Arabia and Indonesia,industry sources said.
