Zhengzhou Exchange tops 627kt in PTA futures deals in first three days

Singapore-Purified terephthalic acid futures trading began for the first time in China when the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange launched its PTA board on December 18,with 627,410mt of PTA traded in the board's first three days of operation,company statistics showed.The first board contract months of the PTA future trading were February 2007 to July 2007.Follow-up contract months are slated to be added as the first month contracts became due,the company said.
