India's GAIL seeks to raise ethylene cap

India's state-run Gas Authority of India Ltd will seek governmnt permission to raise its ethylene capacity next year at its Auriya plant to 450,000 mt/yr from current capacity of 300,000 mt/yr, sai H P Chandna, a director at GAIL. In the meantime, the company launched a debottlenecking program to raise its ethylene capacity to 320,000 mt/yr over the next three months.
