EPA Proposes to Allow Chlorofluorocarbons For Asthma Inhalers Under Health Exemption

The Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to allow manufacturers of asthma inhalers to use 1,002 metric tons of chlorofluorocarbons as a pro-pellant in their products in 2006 under a health exemption provided under the Montreal Protocol,EPA said in a proposed rule published in the April 11 Federal Register(71 Fed.Reg.18,262).
