SEOUL-South Korea March 24 promulgated rules requiring factories to disclose to workers and emergency personnel trade secrets with respect to certain hazardous chemicals as part of existing material safety data sheet (MSDS) requirements.In a statement March 30,the Labor Ministry said that the amendment to the Industrial Safety and Health Law,which was passed by the National Assembly March 2,would take effect Sept.25.It said the change was made to defend workers' "right to know" and emergency medical needs.
