摘要

Metal ions as connectors and N,N '-bidentate ligands as linkers form coordination compounds with an infinite structure.These so-called coordination polymers have been recently intensively studied due to their fascinating chemical and physical properties [1].In endeavour to obtain coordination polymers,displaying desirable features,ligand plays an important role.Bipyridines(4,4'-or 2,2'-bipyridine and their derivatives)are common N,N '-bidentate ligands used for syntheses of the polymers [2].Ligands,built up of two pyridyl rings separated by various spacers,reveal higher or lower flexibility depending on a nature of used spacer.
