EPA Proposes Tighter Emissions Limits For Large Municipal Waste Combustors

A proposed rule announced Dec. 8 by the Environmental Protection Agency would tighten emissions limits on large municipal waste combustors to reflect the current level of emissions,the agency said.The proposal applies to municipal waste combustor units that burn more than 250 tons of municipal solid waste per day and will affect about 70 sources,EPA said.
