EPA Issues Guidance on Registration,Labeling of Pesticides to Protect Species

Final guidance on using pesticide labels,bulletins,and the pesticide registration process to protect endangered species was published by the Environmental Protection Agency Nov.2 (70 Fed.Reg.66,392).The guidance addresses two core issues:how labels should be designed to protect endangered species that might be harmed by the use of a pesticide,and how EPA will generally seek to address concerns about endangered species as it registers pesticides.
