Confounding its detractors, PVC usage is GROWING. According to a new study by Freedonia, PVC usage in the U.S. will increase at an average annual growth trate of 3.1%, to reach 7.17 million tonnes (15.8 billion 1b) in 2005. Dollar value is forecast to increase 5% annually to reach USus6.8 billion in 2006.
