Two new developments from Single Temperature Controls, Inc., Charlotte, N.C., broaden the capabilities of hot-water mold-temperature control. The company now offers pressurized hot-water systems for temperatures up to 225 C/437 F, suitable for molding PEEK and other high-temperature resins. The compact unit has a heating capacity of 6 kw and flow rate up to 30 1/min. Flow metering is standard.
