Davis-Standard, LLC, Pawcatuck, Conn., has joined with Scantech Americas, Lans-downe, Va., to offer an X-ray transmission scanner for measuring sheet thickness. The high degree of accuracy in Scantech's gauging system is said to allow processors to make better, flatter, and more reproducible sheet in less time.
