License Granted for Panel-Free,Hot-Fill PET

Graham Packaging Co.,York,Pa.,has granted the first license for its technology to make panel-free,hot-fill PET bottles to Japanese bottle manufacturer Hokkai Can,Tokyo.Graham's Active Transverse Panel (ATP) technology,introduced last year in the U.S.,offers significant lightweighting ability and design freedom because it eliminates the need for vacuum-uptake panels.
