New compression presses from Dieffenbacher North America Inc.,Windsor,Ont.,are said to reduce energy consumption by at least 50% while also trimming cycle times.The Compress Plus series has a different clamping system from Dieffenbacher's Compress and DY lines.Fast closing is followed by mechanical locking and then by short-stroke pressing.
