While engineering-resin prices went south with the economy during the past year, all sources interviewed for this article-resin suppliers, brokers, and market analysts-generally expect business to be stronger by the second half of 2002. Although resin producers would not state that price increases are out of the question for the near future, one analyst said, "There is not a producer around that can expect to see tangible increases in price across the board."
