Cyclics to Launch First Commercial Grades at'K'

Cyclics Corp.,Schenectady,N.Y.,said it will offer its first fully commercial grades of CBT resin at the K 2004 show in Dusseldorf.The materials are based on an extremely low-viscosity oligomer that processes like a liquid thermoset but cures in the mold to form standard high-molecular-weight PBT engineering thermoplastic.The company declined to elaborate on the new grades but said they would differ in cure speed.
