Anti-Stat Coater Integrated in Pull-Roll Frame

Sheet systems supplier Processing Technologies International (PTi), Aurora, 111., has developed a new, patented system that integrates an anti-static coater into the frame of the pull-roll unit of its G Series roll stand. This permits anti-static solutions to be applied to sheet before thermoforming to minimize static charge in formed packages and eliminates the need for a separate anti-static coating unit.
