New Source for Homopolymer Acetal

Korean Engineering Plastics, represented in North America by KEP Americas, Coppell, Tex., is launching its new Kepital homopolymer acetal (POM). KEP will celebrate 30 years in the copolymer acetal business next year. KEP Americas general manager Edward Hallahan says, ‘The POM homopolymer market has been asking for a new supplier for some time.’ He adds that it has been nearly two decades since the industry last expanded homopolymer capacity.
