First All-Electric Turning-Stack Mold

What's said to be the first all-electric turning-stack mold technology will appear next month at the Fakuma 2012 show in Friedrichshafen, Germany. By removing the need for hydraulics, this development is aimed at users of all-electric injection machines, especially for food, medical, and pharmaceutical uses. Introduced by Foboha GmbH in Germany (U.S. office in Beverly, N.J.), the new turning stack uses electric servo motors for all mold movements, including ejectors.
