摘要

Considering the analogous heat characteristics in both catalytic and non-catalytic fixed bed reactors, the improvement in performancs of solid/vapor non-catalytic chemical heat pump(CHP) is envisaged by using the forced unsteady-state operation of periodic flow reversal reactors, which results in the so-called thermal wave CHP system or reverse flow CHP system. According to the cycle principle of CaCl2/CH3OH thermochemical CHP, a dynamic distributed parameter model for this type operation is proposed. The results of the model show significant COPh and COPL improvement with respect to existing traditional CHP systems. The thermal wave phenomena in the fixed bed and the effects of the parameters on total performances of CHP system are discussed by numerical simulations [References: 4]
