Mechel's Elga to output 200,000 mt in 2010, rising to 1 million mt in 2011

Mechel OAO, the Russian steel and mining giant, said it expects output from the new Elga coking coal development of 200,000 mt in 2010 and 1 million mt in 2011 as the first two of five equipment convoys arrived onsite to push towards a construction start before April.
