China's Shanxi Province mined 58.17 million mt of crude coal in January, up 5.77 million mt or 11.02% on-year, according to figures released by the Shanxi Provincial Coal Industry Bureau on March 1. Of the January coal output, 43.57 million mt was sold outside Shanxi in January, down 2.84 million mt or 6.12% on-year.
