Japan Coal Energy Center, or more popularly known as JCoal, has initiated a study to build a so-called floating dock off the coast of Samarinda in East Kalimantan province in Indonesia, a Japanese source said May 20. The source said the plan is still "preliminary" and would have to be supported by the Japanese government and private investors.
