SAIL extends deadline of coking coal EOI to November 19

Indian state-run steel maker Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has extended the deadline for global expres- sion of interest (EOI) bid submissions for the long-term sup- ply of coking coal to November 19. The previous date for bid submission was October 28. SAIL issued the EOI on October 7. The companies that meet the eligibility criteria would be invited to bid to supply 300,000 mt/year. The coal should have 8-11% moisture, ash content ranging between 8-10% and volatile matter of 20-34%.
