Physical eases off again, DES AR Jan trades $103.25/mt

The Atlantic physical steam coal market slackened for a third consecutive session November 9, with improved buy- ing interest in the afternoon culminating in the trade of a January CIF ARA cargo at $103.25/mt. The utility-to-utility 50,000 mt DES AR generic origin deal was executed via London Commodity Brokers with Exchange of Futures for Physical terms. There were no other reported trades, with Richards Bay FOB January cargoes bid at $100.25/mt and offered at $100.60/mt offscreen.
