Brazilian propylene contract prices may go up 5% in February, said a source. In the US, propylene prices in January increased 3 cents/lb ($66/mt)compared to December, a 5% price increase. Similar increases should happen for the Brazilian domestic market in February. Propylene contract prices in Brazil follow the US and Europe contract prices movements with a month lag.
