Brazilian PP demand was expected to increase in the near term as producers gear up for year-end holidays, sources told Platts this week. Sources said that producers continued to hold prices stable while trying to keep domestic prices below imports. To the Andean region, Brazilian homo injection offers were heard stable at $1,300-1,350/mt while copolymer was last heard offered at a $50/mt premium to homo injection. Overall sources reported thin buy interest throughout Latin America.
