YARN: High density polyethylene yarn-grade inched up $4/mt to $1,225/mt CFR Far East Asia and $1,245/mt CFR Southeast Asia Wednesday as demand remained stable and sellers raised, or maintained, their offer prices. Due to the lack of competition from Middle Eastern producers, yarngrade has kept a healthy premium over other HDPE grades. This week, China’s Sinopec raised its HDPE-yarn ex-works price by Yuan 100/mt ($15/mt) to Yuan 10,800/mt.
